Entry fee
is $2.00 per animal. Registering on-line -- you will be required to pay your entry fees when you pick up your
entry tages in the Fair Office (Building B) or enclose check when mailing in entry. (4-H members may exhibit 4-H Pygmy and all other breed
Goats in open class, pre-registration required by July 24, entry fee $2.00 per animal).
NO LATE ENTRIES ACCEPTED.
If necessary due to crowding, the number of animals may be limited for exhibitors.
Show times:
Saturday, Aug. 2, 8 AM – Pygmy Show
Saturday, Aug. 2, 1 PM – Performance Classes
Goats will be accepted:
Wednesday, July 30, 4 - 8 PM
Thursday, July 31, 8 - 11 AM
Base date for ages is July 31. Health certificates or herd certification/accreditation certificates must be available for the Fair
Veterinarian. Pygmy and all other breed classes not sanctioned. A written authorization from the owner that the goat/goats
are being leased must be included with registration. Only owner/leaser of the said goat may participate in performance classes.
Substitutions within lots will be permitted. Animals shown in Division Y, Classes 1 and 2 cannot be shown in Division D.
Each exhibitor or farm may have more than 2 entries per lot, but premiums will only be paid on 2 animals or groups per lot
per exhibitor or farm. All exhibits must stay in place until 7 p.m. Sunday. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Judged on costume originality, theme, neatness, willingness to be lead by exhibitor around the ring with ease.

Judged on manners, willingness to be led over an obstacle course. This event to be timed.

HERDSMANSHIP AWARD - will be given to the best all around Goat herdsman during the fair (one award selected from
Divisions D and Y). The award will be made to the exhibitor judged best in such things as cleanliness of his livestock,
stalls, aisles, equipment, the exhibitor, showmanship and courtesy to everyone visiting the barns.
