Entry information for 2008 County Fair.
Entries accepted:

Monday, July 28, 4 - 9 PM
Tuesday, July 29, 9 AM - 1 PM

To save time on entry day, please pre-register by July 24. Your entry tags will be ready to pick up in Bldg. B when you bring your exhibits. Photos must be mounted on suitable backing such as cardboard and matting or photo board. As not to have your picture damaged, please secure thoroughly, with double sided scotch tape or other photo adhesive to the matting or photo backing.

NONE WITH GLASS OR FRAME ACCEPTED.

Judging based primarily on choice of subject, composition of photo, quality of photography, and how appropriate subject is for its class and lot. ALL PHOTOS MUST BE BETWEEN 5 x 7 and 8 x 12 INCHES. Due to space limitations, a maximum of only 5 photos per exhibitor will be allowed. Only one photo in each lot.

CLASS 1 — COLOR FILM AND DIGITAL

CLASS 3 — NOVICE, BLACK & WHITE OR COLOR – FILM OR DIGITAL

For exhibitors who have never won a photography award at the Washington County Fair. Limit one photo per novice exhibitor in each lot.

CLASS 4 — WASHINGTON COUNTY FAIR BLACK & WHITE OR COLOR – FILM OR DIGITAL

Photos taken at the Washington County Fair of activities and events. The Washington County Agricultural Society may purchase the winning photos for future fair promotions. A sum of $15 will be given to the exhibitors of selected photos. Limit one photo per exhibitor in each lot.

  3. Carnival and other Fair activities
  4. Miscellaneous

GRAND and RESERVE CHAMPION Ribbons will be given to worthy exhibits.
