DIVISION H – RABBITS

ADVANCE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED BY JULY 24.
Entry fee $0.50 per rabbit. Registering on-line -- you will be required to pay your entry fees when you pick up your
entry tags in the Fair Office (Building B) or enclose check when mailing in entry. (4-H members may exhibit 4-H Rabbits
in open class, pre-registration required by July 24, entry fee $.50 per rabbit).
NO LATE ENTRIES ACCEPTED.
Rabbits will be cooped:
Tuesday, July 29, 1 - 9 PM
Wednesday, July 30, 7 - 9:30 AM
Rabbits released 8 PM Sunday, August 3.
Only 1 entry per breed per lot is permitted (more than 1 entry per lot is permitted but each entry must be a different breed).
All entries must be permanently tattooed, in their left ear for identification purposes. Unhealthy animals will not be accepted.
The standards of the American Rabbit Breeder’s Association will govern in judging all classes and breeds. All rabbits must
be purebred. EXHIBITOR MUST FURNISH OWN FEED & DRINKING BOTTLE FOR WATER - shavings and water provided.
To keep rabbits cool - pop bottles with ice acceptable. Board or carpet (NO cardboard) may be used for rabbit to sit on.
LIST BREED AND TATTOO NUMBER ON ENTRY FORM.
Exhibits will be separated into 2 classes. Four Class being the smaller breeds as Netherlands Dwarf, Dutch,
Mini Lop, Mini Rex, Rex, etc. Six Class being the larger breeds as New Zealand, Satin, Californian, Palomino and
all giant breeds.
CLASS 1 — Four Class (Small breeds)

- Senior Buck - over six months of age
- Senior Doe - over six months of age
- Junior Buck - under six months of age
- Junior Doe - under six months of age
CLASS 2 — Six Class (Large breeds)
Lots below:
- Senior Buck - over eight months of age
- Senior Doe - over eight months of age
- 6-8 month old buck
- 6-8 month old doe
- Junior Buck - under six months of age
- Junior Doe - under six months of age
- Pre-Junior Buck - under three months of age
- Pre-Junior Doe - under three months of age
- 3 Purebred Fryers; 3 to 5 lbs, not over 70 days old
GRAND CHAMPION and RESERVE CHAMPION any rabbit - Ribbon Only
HERDSMANSHIP AWARD - will be given to the best all around Rabbit herdsman during the fair. The award will be made
to the exhibitor judged best in such things as cleanliness of his rabbit, cages, aisles, equipment, the exhibitor, showmanship
and courtesy to everyone visiting the barn.
