Entry information for 2010 County Fair.
ADVANCE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED BY JULY 29.

Entry fee is $2.00 per animal. Registering on-line -- you will be required to pay your entry fees when you pick up your entry tags in the Fair Office (Building B) or enclose check when mailing entry. (4-H members may exhibit 4-H Dairy Goats in open class, pre-registration required by July 29, entry fee $2.00 per animal.)

NO LATE ENTRIES ACCEPTED.

If necessary due to crowding, the number of animals may be limited for exhibitors.

Show time:
Friday, August 6, 8 AM – Dairy Goat Show

Dairy Goats will be accepted:
Wednesday, August 4, 4 - 8 PM
Thursday, August 5, 8 - 11 AM

Base date for ages is July 31. Health certificates or herd certification/accreditation certificates must be available for the Fair Veterinarian. ADGA show rules will govern, Junior and Senior Shows are separately sanctioned. Substitutions within lots will be permitted. Animals shown in Division D cannot be shown in Division Y, Classes 1 and 2. They can be shown in Division Y, Classes 3, 4 and 5. Each exhibitor or farm may have more than 2 entries per lot, but premiums will only be paid on 2 animals or groups per lot per exhibitor or farm. All exhibits must stay in place until 7 PM Sunday. NO EXCEPTIONS.

HERDSMANSHIP AWARD - will be given to the best all around Dairy Goat herdsman during the fair. The award will be made to the exhibitor judged best in such things as cleanliness of his livestock, stalls, aisles, equipment, the exhibitor, showmanship and courtesy to everyone visiting the barns.
