The Washington County Fair is fast approaching and preparations are well under way. In order to put on an event of this size, a lot of help is required. Are you or someone you know looking to make some extra cash this summer. The Fair is hiring!
Fair Office/Information Booth Staff: need to be good with money, have a friendly personality and enjoy having fun. Job duties include: setting up the office for fair, selling tickets, getting ice for vendors, answering questions of the public, checking in exhibitors and vendors, and packing up after fair.
Dates available: Monday, July, 30th through Monday, August, 6th.
Hours available: You can pick the days/times that work best for you.
8 am - 9 pm Monday, July 30th & Tuesday, July 31st8 am - 10 pm Wednesday, August 1st – Saturday, August 4th8 am - 8 pm Sunday, August 5th8 am - 5 pm Monday, August 6th

Grounds Crew: Looking for Grounds Crew staff to work during the fairJob duties include: help set up for fair, pick up garbage, aid in setting up events, help clean up after fair, etc.
Requirement: Must be at least 16 years old to work.

Gate Ticket Sellers: Looking for adults to sell tickets.Job duties include: Sell fair entry tickets at the gates.
Requirement: Must be an adult. Prefer individuals that have dealt with money. Gates are inside and outside, so ability to work on your feet may also be required.
Dates available: Wednesday, August 1st, - Sunday, August 5th.
Hours available:7 am - 12 pm 12 pm – 5 pm5 pm – 10 pm (except Sunday, fair shuts down at 8 pm)
Gate Ticket Takers: Looking for people to collect tickets upon entry to the fair and watch gates during shift.Job duties include: Take fair entry tickets at the gates, open/close gates for livestock trailers, handicap cars, etc.
Requirement: Must be 15 years of age. Gates are outside, so ability to work on your feet is required.
